Degree in Engineering '45 Gil Woerner merged service in the U.S. Navy with his civil engineering education in a career as a military construction consultant. The Secretary of the Navy conferred on him the Distinguished Civilian Service Award in 1982. Gil enjoys flying, golf and family history from his home in Sanford, N.C.
