Football player - strong safety

History will remember Marvin Mattox and Clint Normore as the two football players Larry Brown used to help KU on its run to the 1988 NCAA basketball championship. But four months earlier, they were major players in one of the worst football dramas ever.

The records say that Normore intercepted some K-State quarterback named Gary Swim in the end zone to save a touchdown.

Clint Normore was a difference-maker in the NC game, where he scored seven points off 3-for-3 shooting.
