Freshman Season (2004-05)
Posted eight points in each of the Jayhawks' first two victories... Had two
points in six minutes off the bench against Nevada... Scored six points and
grabbed five rebounds in just eight minutes of action against Pacific... Had six
points and grabbed two rebounds off the bench against Louisiana-Lafayette...
Grabbed five rebounds in nine minutes against South Carolina... Got the first
start of his career against Wisconsin-Milwaukee... Grabbed three rebounds in
eight minutes against Texas A&M... Poured in four points and grabbed three
rebounds against Colorado... Scored three points in 12 minutes at Villanova...
Grabbed three rebounds against Colorado... Scored two points and grabbed three
boards against Kansas State.
Canada Exhibition (Fall 2004)
Averaged 6.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and shot 57.9 percent (11-of-19) in four KU
wins on its British Columbia, Canada, trip... Was 8-for-10 from the field with
five rebounds in the 101-46 win against Langara College... Had six points in the
finale against the Burnaby Mountain All-Stars.
High School
Midwest City High School (2004)... Posted 18 points and 16 boards per game as a
senior... Coached by Rodney Dinde... Once notched 38 points, 16 rebounds and
five blocked shots in a single game... Averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds his
junior season at Northwest Classen High School... Has only played basketball for
four years... Ranked as the 13th-best power forward and 52nd-best prospect
