KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- James Baska, president and chief executive officer,
Associated Wholesale Grocers here, plans to retire at the company's annual
meeting on March 22, trade sources told SN last week. Baska, who will be 65 in
March, must retire under company policy, it was understood.
