Mike Maddox has been promoted to president of INTRUST Bank's northeast Kansas region. This includes the Kansas City metro area, Lawrence, Topeka and Manhattan.

Maddox joined the bank in February 2000 as president of INTRUST's Lawrence market. He has has developed banking relationships in Lawrence and the northeast Kansas region.

Maddox graduated from The University of Kansas in 1991 with a business degree and received his law degree from KU in 1994. He recently was named chairman of the Lawrence-Douglas County Economic Development Board and was honored by Ingram's magazine as one of the "40 Under 40" outstanding individuals recognized for leadership skills and commitment to the community.

Maddox will office at the company's main Johnson County location at 4000 Somerset, Prairie Village.
