Bob Ortegal, Bradley '62, made it to the silver screen in style-his own style. Glory Road, set to release in 2005, is a look back at the 1966 NCAA men's basketball championships from Texas Western-the year they beat Adolph Rupp's Kentucky Wildcats for the title. While most on the set were coached in mid-'60s style, Ortegal was a natural. He lived through the era and, at 26, watched this game unfold on TV. In this Disney movie, he plays the role of a broadcaster for Texas Western's double-overtime victory over Kansas in the regional final.
