"Justin is certainly qualified, capable and deserving," said Drake head coach Tom Davis. "As a Drake graduate he has a great understanding of what it takes to be a successful student-athlete at Drake. He really relates to the players well and is a very hard worker."

The Mason City, Iowa, native was a four-year letterman for the Bulldogs and tied a Missouri Valley Conference single-game record by making all seven shots, including all five three-point attempts in a 2001 home game against Southwest Missouri State.

Ohl played for the Bulldogs from 1997-2001, receiving his bachelor of science in marketing in December of 2001. He then received his teaching licensure in secondary education in the fall of 2003. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Administration degree at Drake.

Ohl's responsibilities include recruiting, coordinating the Bulldog Basketball camp, overseeing the team¹s rebounding, individual skill development, and opponent¹s advanced scouting. He also serves as the academic liaison between the basketball program and academic support services department.
